Shop will be closed today

Wanted to let you know that the shop will be closed today due to the freezing temps, a 29 car pile up on 285 this morning (that I was not involved in) and an icy parking lot.

I've been debating all morning about whether or not to open, and finally decided that a snow day was in order. I have some batches of soap that have to be made today, and I can't mix my lye outside for obvious reasons. So I'll be soaping it at home today.

We'll be open again at 10am on Saturday. Enjoy your day!

I had intended to have a 2009 recap up by now, as well as a 2010 "gotta get it done" post. And at least 50 items checked off of my "to do in the new year" check list. Two days before my vacation actually ended, I was really ready to get back to work. But as it turns out, I'm having a helluva time ramping up. As is my husband. He just spent the last 2 hours creating my super hero alter ego:



Note the wooden spoon in my right hand. The dog sidekick was my mandate.
